Day 6: A book series you wish had gone on longer

^^ This series ^^

I saw the author a few years back on RingCon. Back then he was talking about making the movie and showed us a few videos from shooting the movie. And it was a great. Finally a fantasy movie made in Germany that’s not total bullshit.

So of course I had to get the books.

And god how much I loved the books. The story is simple: Mara is in her teenage years, she always thought her mother was embarrassing enough but then these strange dream-like visions happened. Something about the end of the world and a man bound to a stone.

Everything seems to get worse when suddenly a branch starts to talk to her. It tells her she’s the last Spakona, a seer. And has a mission, she has to make sure the demigod Loki won’t be able to shake his bonds off.

This book is not only fun to read and I promise you won’t be able to put it down, but you also learn a lot about nordic mythology. If someone is interested, the first book is on my list for the “Youth Special” so a more specific post will be coming soon 🙂
