Okay I couldn’t really decide on just one female character. So have a list of my favourite ones:
Hermione Granger (HP)
Hermione is clever. Remember how she solved Snape’s logic puzzle? In her first grade?
She’s incredibly caring. Besides other scenes I won’t forget the one in Godric’s Hollow. She had just lost everything but shoved her own feelings aside to comfort her best friend.
She basically started Dumbledore’s Army. Harry may get all the credit for it, but it was actually Hermione who came up with the concept, who set up the meetings, who hexed the fake galleons.
She stood up to her bully. Who doesn’t remember the infamous scene in the Prisoner of Azkaban?
She’s an activist. She started SPEW (Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare) in her times as student in Hogwarts. Even later, in her times at the Ministry of Magic, she kept fighting for the rights of house-elves.
Luna Lovegood (HP)
I guess the reason I like Luna so much is her uniqueness. She’s quirky and a little strange but all in a good way.
She’s also loyal and braver than one would think. She’s funny. She’s smart, not book smart like Hermione but people smart. She’s an amazing friend.
She gives her views and opinions, making Harry see the bigger picture.
She’s an outcast.
She taught us that it’s okay to be odd, to be different. She did what she wanted to do and was never afraid of what peple might think of her because of it. Actually she never really cared what people were thinking of her.
