“The known is finite, the unknown infinite” // Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuvel // Mini-Review

WakingGods Review

About the story: The world is in an uproar – A new alien robot appeared in London. After Themis was discovered a few years ago, there are still many questions that need to be answered. The new appearance only adds more questions to those. Why did a second robot show up? Why in London? What is its purpose? What is the best way to react?

Humankind has to face a new nightmare, when Kronos shows just how deadly the alien robots can be. It gets even worse when more robots appear in Tokyo, Madrid and other big cities. The team of Rose Franklin has to hurry now and discover the last truths behind the alien technology to save the world from complete destruction.

My thoughts: To be honest, with Sleeping Giants in mind and how incredible the first book was, I was afraid the second book couldn’t keep up with it. I am so glad I was wrong. This book was just as fast-paced and unputdownable as the first book. I loved everything about this book.

If you love Science Fiction and haven’t read this series yet, please do. You will not regret it.

My Rating: ★★★★
