If you haven’t figured out your christmas dinner yet, now is the right time as it is only 4 more days until the great day. But be quick before the supermarkets are empty.
If you are still looking for inspiration here are a few dishes inspired by books:
Entree:
A Turniphead Cawl inspired by Howl’s Moving Castle is a nice and warm start to a very magical dinner. Now, I know Sophie doesn’t like Turnips at all (despite naming the scarecrow Turniphead) but she doesn’t need to know.
Main Dish(es):
Gansey’s Half Sausage and Half Avocado Pizza might be something a bit different this christmas. Obviously Pizza is not your traditional christmas dinner food but it can be share between vegeterians and meat-eaters.
Or maybe you’d prefer something else. Like the Beaufelaire’s Pasta Puttanesca. Which would make a great main and is suitable for all your vegeterian needs.
Side Dish(es):
Peeta’s Cheese Buns do for a delicious side dish to whatever you choose to be your main. Along with roasted mushrooms as read about in The Hobbit.
Pudding:
That Chocolate Cake from Matilda. It looks so yummy and I love me some chocolaty goodness.
